Starting a new IG account really makes you realize how brutal that "0 followers" look is. I just launched a side page for a local charity initiative and I’ve posted some decent content, but barely anyone clicks “follow.” I think people just don't want to be the first one, like it’s some kind of social risk. It’s annoying because the whole thing is meant to be positive and community-based, but the empty vibe scares people off. I'm seriously considering giving the follower count a small push just to make it look active. Anyone here done that before?
I understand how you feel. Starting a new account is really hard, especially when no one follows you. I think you should ask your friends to help you follow initially or share on your personal account. When the page looks interactive, it will be easier for others to follow. You are doing something meaningful, don't be discouraged. flappy dunk
Totally been through that with a small gaming page I created last year. Even though I had cool clips and highlights, no one cared until the page looked like it had some life. I gave it a little push with an instagram follower boost cheap
— didn’t go crazy, just enough to make it seem like something was happening there. Honestly, after that, real people started joining more naturally. Sometimes you just need to make it look less empty to get things rolling. It’s like planting the first few seeds before the rest can grow.
I’ve always wondered if that early push really makes a difference. Seems like it’s more about social proof than actual content in the beginning. Kinda makes sense though — nobody likes being the only one at the party.
