After hours of debugging it seems the only way I can get the Shapes controller to connect with the wifi is by removing all numbers from the SSID password.
Has anyone else experienced this? I really should not have to update every device in the house just to get this (rather expensive) product to work.
Hi @KAD
I just tried this right now. I set my password to basically 11122333 and tried to get my controller to connect to the WiFi network and it succeeded.
Let me work with you to resolve this issue.

If you're experiencing issues connecting your Nanoleaf Shapes controller to a Wi-Fi network with a password containing numbers, you're not alone. Some users have reported that their controllers only connect when the Wi-Fi password contains letters, not numbers. However, others have successfully connected using numeric passwords, suggesting that the issue may be related to specific network configurations or firmware versions.
To troubleshoot, ensure your Wi-Fi network operates on a 2.4GHz band, as Nanoleaf devices often have compatibility issues with 5GHz networks. Additionally, check your router settings to ensure that multicast, IGMP, and UPnP are enabled, as these can affect device connectivity. If problems persist, consider reaching out to Nanoleaf support for further assistance.
