At night I dim the panels to around 30% or so, but whenever I load a new colorscheme the level jumps up to 100%, which is a bit irritating to the eyes. Why not remember the manual brightness setting.

@illusion in the App, the brightness is incorporated as part of the Scene. This is to ensure the Scene is always in a predictable state when executed. Some users may prefer one Scene at one brightness and a different Scene at a different brightness. To change the brightness, edit the Scene (by swiping), change the brightness to what you like, and save the Scene. Now when you execute it, it will use the saved brightness.
@Nathan I can understand the fact that some scenes are better at lower intensity but that could have been taken care off by choosing dark colors in the used colorscheme. If you want some scene always darker than others, just edit the colors. Gui-wise the overall brightness appears separated from the scene selection, it might as well behave like that.
Yup, that makes sense when you are creating, but not when you are consuming (default and downloaded Scenes), which is the more common case. In either case, the current approach is sub optimal in a few places and we are looking at ways to improve it. Thanks for your feedback!
