I want to make sure I'm being clear. It would greatly benefit users if there was a way to export a file containing all of their Nanoleaf devices, including their WiFi designations, room and device names, as well as their pairing codes. This would simplify the process of setting up, modifying, and repairing connection issues for these devices. Retrieving pairing information from individual devices can be challenging, especially if their alternative pairing codes have been lost.
One possible solution would be to create this file in Excel or Numbers, either before or during setup, and edit it as needed in the spreadsheet or GUI. This file could then be imported into the application, making it much easier to pair multiple devices at once, rather than having to do so one by one. Keep in mind that this may take some time, depending on the number of devices being used. However, a redundancy check could be used to identify devices that are already paired to the thread network, and only add new devices or update information on existing devices as needed. This would make changing the WiFi information for the home much simpler than the current method and create a more user-friendly and intuitive device setup process.
