Stuck Firmware & Power Limit issues

I have Shapes B77A serial number S22530H1143 and model number NL42. Hardware version is 1.6.0.

It's been stuck on firmware version 9.4.1. I have hard and soft reset the device, as well as uninstalled the desktop/android apps. The connection type says WiFi, and the Thread Network says "NanoleafThread38" on channel 12.

The reason I am concerned and would like to ensure it is up to date, is that the device controller LEDs are almost always cycling and unresponsive with periods of no LEDS on. In addition, the device will get stuck and will not respond to any buttons. On rare occasions, half of the panel will function, while the rest will appear to be off.

I also occasionally receive a Power Limit warning. When I use the power limit troubleshooter, two triangles light up blue at the point where the half that appear shut off on occasion that I mentioned earlier.

I have a 42W PSU, zero hexagons, 19 triangles, and 10 mini triangles. According to your website, this should be more than adequate to power my specific setup.

Hi @ancient__smoke__862

Are the LEDs cycling from left to right OR right to left?

For the triangles in the half of the layout that appear off, it seems like you might have a bad connection at that point. Try to replace the linker at that point and see if that resolves the issue. If that doesn't resolve, remove both the panels the linkers are connected to and simply rotate them and connect them back again. See if that resolves the issue.

Have you also made a ticket with Nanoleaf at Nanoleaf Helpdesk?

They're cycling toward the power button. I have it oriented vertically with the power button at the top so it's cycling from bottom to top. It's been stuck cycling for over 24 hours now. I replaced the 42w adapter with the 75w adapter and it resolved the power limit issue. It no longer displays a power limit issue warning in the app, and when the controller isn't stuck cycling, and I am able to use it to test the power, it shows green instead of the blue where the issue once was.

The only issue I have now is that it is stuck at firmware 9.4.1, and the controller frequently and for long periods of time gets stuck on a cycling mode of some sort.

Apologies for the delayed response, can you make a ticket at helpdesk.nanoleaf.me and send the ticket number here? I will directly converse with you on the ticket and be able to resolve the firmware issue as well. That will be easier for us to debug.

Thanks
