Hi everyone,

I bought a Nanoleaf controller in August 2023, which should be covered by a two-year warranty. However, when I tried to make a claim, they said it was registered in May 2022—before I even purchased it. BestBuy confirmed that this date is likely the manufacturing date, not the registration date.

The controller mysteriously became unresponsive exactly one year after I actually registered/bought it. Multiple Nanoleaf techs confirmed it was defective. This happened when I was upgrading the firmware, which might be coincidental.

Has anyone else had similar issues with registration dates or warranty claims?
