Nanoleaf strip not connection to Google app

I've just bought the Essentials strip and i just can't seem to pair it with the google home app.
It has the latest firmware and I have paired the Nanoleaf smarter series account numerous times in the Home & Assistent app, but the light just doesnt appear. Everything is connected to the same router, though the strip appears to only connect through Bluetooth. The moment I turn off my bluetooth, there's no way to connect to the strip.

I did power cycling and hard resetting. reset the router, re-installed the apps. The strip also doesnt show on my router, so it seems to solely be on bluetooth
