I have been back and forth with different tech support folks for about 3 months on this issue and am hoping to get some more specific attention to this issue. Yes, all on 2.4ghz, hard resets, etc. Even reset all my home hubs and router to no avail.
For some reason, all three of these devices go “No Response” in HomeKit intermittently—roughly once a week, all at the same time. When I try to access through Nanoleaf iPhone app, I get an error. However, when I check my router, they are all online and the WiFi channel remains the same. If I power cycle the devices, they reappear, but the problem will show up again…often with in a day or two. I have around 40 Nano products and other HK WiFi devices, but it only happens to these 3! This has got to be a bug…help!! Driving me nuts. When the Lines go down, it completely messes up my Thread bulbs (which work great until this happens).
Hey @empty__silence__147
I will help you with this.
When this issue happens, have you been able to ping the IP address of the Lines that is shown up in your router's device list?
If the Lines is disconnected, an LED on the Lines processor will flash. The same with Canvas, the power LED on the controller panel will flash, does that happen?
Can you also share the serial number for your devices. You can DM them to me directly as a private message.

Yep, I can ping all three devices. The controllers do not flash. I’ve DM’d you.
Thanks so much for your assistance!
Hey, is it possible that this problem derives from my AppleTvOS updates? I noticed that when my AppleTV that is operating as a hub reboots, these three devices do not reappear unless I power cycle them. I suspect my AppleTVs have been auto updating and causing this problem.
It is indeed possible yes. AppleTV is supposed to reconnect back to those devices automatically so I find it odd that it doesn't.
Power cycling will make the Nanoleaf devices re-advertise back on mDNS which Apple TV can then pick up on and reconnect.
I will have someone on my team try this out.
You mentioned you have other Nanoleaf devices. Are any of them of the same kind (Smarter Series) and do they suffer from this issue?

I just have 4D, Canvas, and Lines. The other things are bulbs and strips, a mix of HK and Matter over Thread. Just these three…
Thanks much!

Interesting, so its just the HomeKit wifi devices that suffer.

Yes, and just the Nanoleaf. Not my other HK WiFi stuff from other manufacturers.
