The Light Panels and Canvas have an OpenAPI. Hopefully that's what you are looking for. You can find more documentation under the developers menu.

As for your question about commands and triggers, Nanoleaf does indeed support various types of commands and triggers to create interactive lighting experiences. While it doesn't use UDP (User Datagram Protocol) specifically for control, you can integrate it with other smart home platforms and devices. Many users integrate their Nanoleaf with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or through automation platforms like Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, and even DIY solutions using platforms like Home Assistant.

For more advanced control and customization, you might want to look into using the Nanoleaf API. The Nanoleaf API allows you to send commands to your Nanoleaf devices, change colors, patterns, and more programmatically. If you're comfortable with coding or have experience with automation, you can explore this route.
