Hey everyone! I’ve been messing around with some fake ID templates for a short film project, and I noticed that some templates look pixelated or blurry when I zoom in or print them. I get that not everything needs to be crystal clear, but the difference in quality really stood out. Has anyone else run into this? Is high-res really that important for this kind of stuff?

Oh yeah, absolutely. I ran into the same problem when I was helping a friend design some prop IDs for a stage play. We used a template that looked fine on screen at first, but once we tried to enlarge it or print it on better stock, the image quality totally fell apart — the text became fuzzy, the background details were muddy, and it just didn’t look believable up close. For anything that’s going to be scrutinized in person or on camera, high-resolution images in fake ID templates are essential. What made a real difference for us was switching to templates that were built in layered PSD format with at least 300 DPI. That way, every element — the barcode, the fine print, even the microtext — stayed crisp, and we had more control over customization. I ended up grabbing a few from — https://fakeidtemplates.org/ they offer high-resolution fake ID templates that are actually designed with editing in mind, and you can tell the difference instantly. If you’re working on anything even remotely professional (film, theater, digital art), I’d say don’t skimp on resolution. It saves you a lot of fixing later on.
