So my Nanoleaf Hexagon starter kit game in today and after setting them up and giving them power, i keep getting the same message of Accessory not found when trying to pair (im on IOS btw). But when i soft reset it (EVEN THOUGH I JUST GOT THEM), it flashed green but that was it and went on to normal colors and when i tried to pair them to my phone it said the same thing… Accessory not found
okay, so flashing green indicates its on your WiFi network. However, your phone is not being able to discover them using mDNS.
Check your. routers setting and ensure that multicast DNS is allowed and the ports for the same are not blocked (5353).
Can you also share the brand and model of your router?
Regards
Update : I had it connected for about 30 minutes and then it said it was unreachable and then i deleted it and tried to reconnect and i cant anymore
If possible i will get back to you tomorrow if you could stick around.
Is the power LED on your controller flashing when this occurs?
Its just solid white when i try to connect
But right now it wont even connect anymore
Right, but for those 30 mins when it did connect, it would have been off. And then once it disconnected, it would have still been off or it would have been flashing
- If its off, and disconnected from your iOS device, its likely an issue with your routers mDNS settings, which you have to look into
- If its flashing, this means the controller has disconnected from your WiFi network. This would likely be due to weak signal strength for the controller. Moving your controller to another panel could also likely solve that issue.
If its any other case apart from this issue, you should contact support for a potential replacement
