Hello
2 days ago I purchased the Nanoleaf Triangle Starter Kit and everything has been working perfectly until today. This morning I woke up to my lights being turned on randomly, i didn't think much of it so just turned them off.
When I was in the app I noticed there was a firmware update available so thought I should get the latest update in case there were bugs that would fix the light turning on randomly issue. Anyhow, after I started the update my app and the panels kept saying they were connecting and unreachable. It seems like the firmware update finally completed but since then I have had nothing but issues.
I cannot use the app at all, IF I manage to get it connected, I have about 3 seconds of connection and then it disconnects and attempts to reconnect me, sometimes it reconnects but most times it just says its unreachable. This basically makes it that I cannot use the app at all to control the lights or scenes anymore. I have soft reset 5x times, I have hard reset 5x times. I have tried WiFi channels on Auto, 1, 6 and 11 multiple times. I've rebooted my phone, router, everything like that multiple times. I've deleted and re-installed the app on my Android device multiple times. I've had numerous issues trying to pair the device when deleting it but eventually it works but still causes these issue.
I'm out of ideas, I've researched and done everything I can and I just feel like the firmware update has caused my panels to be faulty. Is there anything else I can do? Right now they are unusable and it just feels like a big waste of money. Last night the kids were dancing with the panels and today they were dissapointed we couldn't get them working.
I'd also like to add that when I attempt to power the panels on manually from the remote connected to them, there is about a 5 second delay between when I press the button to power them on, and them actually powering on. When I try power them off, there's about a 10-15 second delay…somethings not right…
Thanks
Hey @Kosie , I am going to reach out to you on DM to help resolve this.
Once resolved, I can post here what the issue was.

Hey @"Aliakbar Eski" thanks for looking into this for me. It looks like the issue is partly resolved now that I'm actually using the panels. I seem to be able to maintain the connection which is good news however I cannot select different scenes. When I click on a scene is says "a connection cannot be established". I also noticed that one of my panels would slightly flicker to a lighter colour then back to normal. It's not doing it often but something I noticed.
Edit: As I typed this, it seems like its working again but could possibly be something intermittent going on. Overall, it's definitely a far better experience then that of yesterday as I am able to use the lights. I'll keep monitoring.
Edit 2: Looks like its occasionally disconnecting and one of my panels is going white for a couple of seconds and then back to normal. Definitely still some sort of issue here.
Thanks for looking into it for me.
Hey @Kosie
That looks like a connection issue to me. Could you verify that the panel is connected correctly to its neighbouring panel?
If everything seems alright, you could reach out to support. The flickering panel could need to be replaced as well

It absolutely does. Thanks!!
That appears to be a problem with the connection to me. Could you check to see if this panel is correctly connected to the panel that it is adjacent to? If everything appears to be in order stumble guys, you could try getting in touch with support. It's possible that the panel needs to be replaced if it's flickering.

It sounds frustrating to deal with these issues after just getting your Nanoleaf setup. Firmware updates can sometimes cause unexpected problems. Have you tried reaching out to Nanoleaf support? They might have specific troubleshooting steps. Snow rider
