I absolutely love Nanoleaf. I was wondering if there would be any way in increasing the communication between Home devices such as Alexa and Google Home. e.g. instead of setting the panels to a block colour, or performing the on/off feature, would it be possible to say Alexa, set nanoleaf to Say scene name here

That's a great idea - if the nanoleaf had a way to store the scenes such that Google/Alexa could be set to access that (maybe it does?)

I understand that ther may be a potential set up possibility via Google Home, but from my analysis I cannot see any viable feature with Amazon Alexa. Do you think that this could be looked into

Sorry, I don't have an Alexa so I can't personally look into it. Based on the official Alexa integration page, it looks like you can't do it.
The google homes do it
